Big game for the Patriots this week, we've got Indy Sunday night. The Bears have a bye week, er, I mean they're playing the Dolphins.

They used to be good, as a matter of fact, they're the only team in NFL history to go undefeated all season. This year they suck, 1-6. The Bears are undefeated so far, so they should be able to mop the floor with Miami. If they do get beaten by the Dolphins, it would be considered a huge upset.

A few years back I showed some interest in the NFL because it was a craze her for a little while and I along with every other non american liked the Dallas Cowboys. Are they still good or do the suck balls?

I think the best way to describe the Cowboys is they didn't live up to the expectations fans had for them this year. Sort of middle of the pack. If you guys down under want a team to root for, there's not finer team you could choose than the New England Patriots. Maybe I'm biased, but they have won three Super Bowls in the last four years.

I think WNC needs to spice things up around here.

Do Canadians get into American Football?

Yeah the NFL(american football) is pretty huge in Canada too, but we have the CFL(canadian footbal) here as well, which is probably more popular. Talent wise it's not at as high of a level as the NFL and many players who can't make it there play here. Well a lot of the time it's not so much that they lack talent, many just aren't big enough to cut it in the NFL. But Ricky Williams played in the CFL this year and didn't do all that much. It takes some time for Americans to get used to playing with our rules.
I know many American will scoff at the CFL but it really is a great league to watch. There are bigger hyped games in the NFL, but I think the CFL provides more entertaining games on a more consistent basis.
The game of "american football" actually originated in Canada.where it had been adapted from rugby. The two games are virtually identical, but Canada has bigger balls(naturally ), we have 3 downs instead of 4, our field is wider and longer, and we have one extra player on the field per team. That's about it.

The NFL stole some Canadians too. Warren Moon and Swervin Mervyn Fernandez come to mind. And Joe Kapp
