We have this strip club here that's 18 and up that I have been to a few times. It's nice because the girls dancing definetly give more attention to the women in the audience!!

EVERY strip club in Australia is 18 and up, I feel sorry for 18-20yr olds in the US every time I think about the minor laws over there. What age can you vote at?

There are strip clubs in the states that are 18+, they just don't serve alcohol. If they do serve, then it's 21+. You have to be 18 to vote here in the USA.

The drinking age really doesn't affect anything. If you want to drink... you can and almost everyone does. If you want into a 21 and up club you just use a fake I.D..... a lot of the laws in the US are pointless and are rarely followed

True... from an outsider looking in Americans seem more prudish and conservative when it comes to sex in the mainstream but alcohol is open slather!

Alcohol and Violence are common place in every form of media but sex is like THE cardinal sin or something... I mean, I get dirty looks from people when I tell them I work at Victoria's Secret and they think I work in some sex shop.

Say have you seen that show Californication? It just hit the screens here and I love it. SOme christian groups opposed the whole nun giving head scene but all in all it's been well received despite its shock value. How has a show like that been received in the states?

I don't watch much TV... but I've definetly seen adds for the show. It's a cable series so I guess people don't fuss about it as much as if it were a primetime show... but I'm sure if it has anything to do with sex, there's someone here trying to get it canceled.
