oh, yeah, i saw previews for it, it looked pretty funny!

Wallace and Grommit FTW!

Went and saw Land of the Dead the other day... standard Romero fare, fairly forgettable film with some very cool hardware. Dead Reckoning FTW!

Otherwise, most recent films I saw were Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and, er Batman Begins. Guess I need to get to the cinema more often biggrin.gif But they both rocked.

Meanwhile, I feel I ought to see Corpse Bride. Burton and Depp... all together now... FTW!

Five movies? Wow that's hard...

On another forum we had to do top 5 songs - that was also difficult.

But ok, here are five of my favourites (as I have too many to limit)

IN RANDOM ORDER

Lord of the Rings (Let's say the trilogy is one)
Star Wars (Let's call all six one)
King Arthur
Troy
Hackers

ummm, I won't comment on the surfer one.

"Usual Suspects"...reminds me of another great Kevin Spacey flick, "Pay It Forward".

For the youngsters on here, AMC showed a really good Burt Reynolds movie last night, "Sharkey's Machine".

The usual "Reynolds Rug Factor" (applies pre-1990 only), i.e., the less rug, the better the movie...
goofus67
<<Midnight Express>>

Just bought the DVD. GREAT flick!

Another list:

--Goodfellas
--Casino
--The "original" "Planet of the Apes" movies
--Rocky....yes, Rocky!
--Red Dawn
--Knightriders

The last two are "dated" and have a "cheesy" factor...which makes them even better!

And for my favorite, all-time "movie-that-takes-itself/its message-too-seriously" movie:
--Billy Jack

Favorite movie of questionable quality but enjoyable:
--The "original" Walking Tall
