For instance, for awhile several years ago I used a MSN dial-up server. The router software would try to connect using one of several numbers. Each of these numbers represented a different IP address. I have been using a Time-Warner modem for awhile now... so I assumed that my IP is static until I recently changed from a D-Link to a Netgear router. The two different routers require different Login protocols. I wonder if my IP addy has changed?
