During the break between Xmas and New Year I have alot more free time than usual, so I get an hour or 2 to pop on in. When work pics up again my visits may be a little more sparce but I'll be trying to get on as often as possible! This is one post whore who wont die easy...

I went to go see a Lacross Game!!! It was sooo much fun I hope he takes me again!!!!

awesome.. I used to play lacrosse up north.. great sport.. high energy and hard hitting.. which was just my type of game.. love cracking my stick over people or coming in and slamming their asses on a cross pattern.

Oh yeah they were hitting alright!!! I didnt realize how freaking violent it was - holy shit! There were a few heavy hits, and a few good fights broke out so it was awesome.

This one dude kept heckling and hitting the other with his stick non stop (it looked so annoying) so eventually the other guy lost it and totally just bitchslapped him, knocking his helmet off, right in front of the rep too. I was howling!

Lacrosse games are fun to watch, man!

hell yea.. you look for the guys that you know you can fuck with their nerves and just keep smacking them.. throws their game off... lacrosse did have great fights as well. Ive always said hocky didn't have shit on us!

I need to get lasik done on my eyes first too though.. my vision has gotten worse.. not sure i can make plays on the ball as well as I used to

Lacrosse is a weird fucking sport... no one outside american college plays it... is there some sort of national league or is it all local?

They've developed a professional league here in the states now. I went to a small school and wasn't introduced to it until after college. Great sport.

and no curling is not the national sport of canada, due to the fact that it is not a sport. fat old people throwing rocks down a sheet of ice while sweeping with a broom is not a sport in my book, it's like glorified shuffleboard. But it is honest to God almost bigger than hockey up here. Must be due to our aging population.

here it is on TSN (our version of espn) and it is shown before basically any other sport. It would have to be the Stanley Cup playoffs before they would ever pre-empt curling. What a farce.
