When you guys surf the front end, do you turn on the thumbs in the listing page, leave em off so it's all text, or do you just zoom from one pic to the next on the pic pages?

Trying to decide if I should make the listing pages "thumbs on" by default.

I don´t use thumbs but I think it would be great if there would be thumbs right away

I use the thumbs all the time. Either way is fine with me, it's only a click to turn them on.

I used to use the thumbs but didn't like it, you saw ALL of the day's pic in one glance and it kinda took the thrill out of it.

I have just the text appear, start from the top of the day and rate each pic, and juct click next after every one until I reach the end

I am embarassed to say this but I didn't even notice you could put thumbnails on it! But I did now and I love it!

or i make it a little more exciting and leave thumbs off and just look at the scores. When they are high i check them out and then get depressed cause some don't deserve those scores (oops am i thinking out loud?) or i look at the really low scores and laugh (then feel really good about myself). OOOOPs. Thinking out loud again and again and again.

I do exactly the same thing

You know what might be interesting? Fisrt you have to vote THEN you'd get to see the cumulative score. That way everyone else's score wouldn't influence your own. I think there are some sites that work that way but I'm too lazy to see if that's true.

A great idea I'd say... I know I have been guilty of it. I have seen a girl who I think is an 8, scoring under 5 so I may bump it to 9 or 10 to help lift the average, or vice versa a girl scoring over 7 who i think deserves a 4, i will give her 1

the web on my cell phone is already at a crawl. thumbs on all the time would slow it down even further.

yea, i get laughed at cause i use my phone more than my pc. but 5 years from now when the only pc available for upgrading is the little one you carry in your pocket or clipped to a belt, you'll know that i wasn't too far off on this one. leave the thumbs choice to us.

just leave 'thumbs' to the user's choice...

Thanks for making it the default rather than the only option... im leaving them off!
