Bo I am not sure if you have ever been to Australia but i'll give you some facts. I come from Sydney which is the country's most diverse city in terms of race and religious background. Being tolerant is an everyday neccesity where I live.

One things that does grate me is that there is an abundance of teenagers here that are either white, olive, dark or black and they talk like this becuase they see video clips of 50 Cent and other rappers doing the same. There are very very few African Americans living in Sydney and even the ones that do converse in a normal manner.

I don't know if the right word(s) is earning respect, but I think the general consensus is that you shouldn't walk into a forum and post how ever you feel like without learning the the rules of the board and more importantly, to not have learned the unwritten rules or "feel"of the board. You can't just read that part, you have to learn it by reading how others converse with each other and what is acceptable or expected of people. And not being a complete fuckstick helps. Well this be a big party or a small event you are planning. Who all is invited. I post on a place for 4 years I have well over 20 thousand post in the past 4 years and whenever there is a new person joining the board I chat with them in the same manner as people been there forever.
