Thats fucking weak.  Come to Texas where its 110 without the pads and play.

Last wekend we had a semi final played in the National Rugby League competition. It was held in Townsville and the temperature was 32 degrees celcius! (90F)

The game usually goes for 2 80 minute halves and both sides were asked if at the 20 minute and 60 minute marks they'd like to have a 1 minute drinks break to help heat exhaustion and dehydration and both clubs said NO!

QUOTE(closeup @ Sep 21 2007, 10:07 AM)
"Cheating" is such a loaded word. We prefer to call it "Gaining a competitive advantage" Or, as Bill Belichick, the coach, would say, "A different interpretation of the rules." Isn't that a much nicer way to put it?
We we play Buffalo this Sunday. There's a good chance they're going to have to invoke "The Mercy Rule". Like in Little League when one team gets up by ten runs, they stop the game. So nobodys' feelings get hurt.

yeah i get your point , well My bears suck but I think there finnally going to bench grossmen this week so maybe that will help .. losing to the cowboys was like losing to the Hawkeyes of Iowa ..

It's time to watch the Patriots beat-up the Bengals. As I've told everyone who'll listen, I predicting an undefeated season for the Pats. Remember, you heard it here first. I'll make a note of this post so I can reference it in December when the Patriots are 16-0.

Yes, the Cowboys are the latest victims of the mighty Patriots. The only real obstacle coming up are the Colts. Next week we play the 0-6 Dolphins, which is about as close as a bye week as a team can get.

Yeah. I'd say winning by an average of 30 points is kicking ass. Let's just hope they can keep it up. They'll need to get by Indy if they want to go undefeated.

Indy is not a team to take lightly. The Pats were one drive away from the Super bowl last year and it was Indy who stopped them. If both teams are 8-0 when they play, I think that will be the first time two teams with that record have played each other.

Do you guys think when the season comes close to an end and both teams have nothing to play for, they will try to go for the undefeated record? The Pats play the Giants in the final game i think. I wouldnt want to put Brady in harms way. It's a tough call.

Yeah, I think they'll go for the undefeated season. After all the BS involving cameras on the sidelines, etc, the Patroits will show no mercy. Todays score: Pats 52 Wash-6. Brady threw 3 touchdown passes and ran for two more.

The Pats vs the Colts this weekend is going to be a classic. Indy is the last team New England lost to. Last year they blew an 18 point lead in the second half, keeping them out of the Super Bowl. I don't think two undefeated teams have ever played this late in the season. I can't wait till Sunday.

I'd think being from South Carolina you'd be a Panthers fan. And the Colts just spanked them pretty hard last weekend. That must have been a hard game for you to watch. Lucky for me, it's the Pats who do the ass-kicking up here. They'll beat the Colts by two touchdowns.
Or maybe you're a Redskins fan. If that's the case, I can see why you don't like the Patriots. Joe Gibbs has been in the league since the players wore leather helmets and we handed him the worse loss of his career.

Believe it or not but I'm a Bronco's fan. I live south of Denver for seven years so they wore off on me. Besides I grew up in SC but moved away when I was 18 and just now moved back, so I never really got into the Panthers. I remember when they were and expansion team along with the Jaguars. Not a Redskins fan at all, and that was a UGLY game!

If the Colts keep Brady on his ass then I think the Pats are going to have a hard time. To be honest the team that has the best day on D will win the game.

So don't get to upset when the Colts ruin everything for the Pats just like last year.

:roflmao:

I think Sunday is going to be an awesome day for football! This is the first time in NFL history that two undefeted teams with a 7-0 record has met.

Now we need a bet, and you are going to give me 14 points.

Maybe we should get the girls to cast their vote along with some nice melon shots to go with it!
