Mixed with vodka it is great!....so is almost anything.

But by itself it's worse than Crab Juice.

It's a BIG country.
West coast, it's pretty warm still. It never gets that cold there all year round. Think California but cooler. Septmeber, probably still in the 20s. Alberta, Sask, and Manitoba, basically from the Rocky Mountains east, it is still really nice. Temps are in the high teens to mid 20s average but it could still easily get into the 30s. BUT, out here it could snow and be miserable just the same. Not very likely but that chance always is there. Eastern provinces, Ontario and Quebec, it's still mostly warm but again, weather can still turn ugly quickly, but probably not as permanent as the prairies,(Sask, Manitoba, Alberta). Maritime provinces on the far east coast is starting to get rainy but I think it's still pretty mild out there in Sept.

So I guess what I'm saying is, in all likelyhood you're looking at approx. 20C wherever you go, the nights are starting to cool off. probably around 7-12C. And if the weather turns crappy it probably won't last more than a day or 2. And chances are slim to none that it will get really bad(ie a blizzard) but never say never in Canada. Calgary was 30C last week and got 15cm of snow yesterday wacko.gif

Ok, It tooka minute or two to digest that but basically it's not too bad, just unpredictable?

I am thinking of taking a trip next year to LA as I have relatives there, from there I'd like to see some other parts of the states and whilst I am in the nexk of the woods I'd like to visit Canada and return to Mexico. I met some great people from Sask and Vancouver when I was in Europe and they guy from Sask said he'd take me hunting grinning-smiley-003.gif

Well if you're going to Canada, I'd say go to Vancouver or Alberta and head to Banff or Jasper or anywhere in the mountains. Sask is actually pretty diverse but you'd have to spend some time here to really appreciate it. Most of the big cities are smack dab in the middle of bald ass prairie, but if you head far north or into the southe, there is some really impressive scenery. Depends what you're into.
And it doesn't surprise me that a dude from Sask. would offer to take you hunting. Just make sure he brings 2 guns tongue.gif
But if you head to Sask, feel free to crash in my booze stocked basement alc.gif

It's all just an idea at the moment, definitely want to head to LA whilst I can access free accom. and I must get back to Cancun. So I figure, jesus I'm close enough, why not head up to Canada? Always wanted to see Canada too.

I'll be ensuring at least 2 guns are taken. He says that some places are so untouched you could go fishing on an inland lake there and it could quite possibly be one of the very times anyone has ever fished there? True or bullshit?

Oh and if I crash in your basement, don't expect there to be any booze in the morning tongue.gif

about the lake thing. absolutely. there are roughly 100,000 lakes and rivers in Sask. and a lot of them are in the northern half of the province, which is very sparsely populated. If you go up north canoeing or camping, you could go days or longer without seeing another living soul.

there are so many deer here(thanks to the near eradication of natural predators), they're happy to let hunters bag a few. otherwise many just end up getting splattered on the highways.

Here we have an Alaskan Timberwolf. He weighs 240 pounds and his jaws can bite through a parking meter. He does get spooked by loud noises.
Krusty: LOUD!? THAT'S OUR SECRET WORD FOR THE DAY!!!

Meanwhile, Krusty is attacked by a bird.
Lady: She must think you're after her eggs.
Krusty: I only ate one!
