I'm a cashier at a sporting goods store...and I know nothing about sports! hehehe, it was a job and I needed one, plus I love customer service type jobs...I love people! It's not as cool of a job as everyone else seems to have... :lol: though.

Jobs are jobs.. unless your hugh hefner.. then its pleasure

I was hoping I could just Eat and fuck sussed brains out all day and she would keep me locked in her bedroom.. i can see that as being a productive living!

Sooo, I guess this has to be my favorite thread so far because I need advice and help! :o

Been outta college for a few years, social science major, been traveling and doing community service (kind of a professional volunteer of sorts...yes, i did get paid...if you can call it that since one year i was getting dimes and nickles and hour...)

Now i'm gainfully unemployed (since late july), or free-spirited, or I am a personal career exploration specialist and i have one client (me :roflmao: ...it's actually not funny one bit)

I'm applying to graduate school right now...kind of nervous about going back but not really sure what else to do since i can't seem to get hired. The local restaurants won't even call me back!

Have any of you ever been stuck in a jobless hell like me, questioning your skills, education and value as a person? What did you do to calm your nerves in those dark hours?

Yeah, I've tried to drown unemployment with several bottles of wine, jack, gin, and cheap beer (not all at the same time...not yet, at least :cheers: )

Anyone have any recommendations for places to look for employment other than craigslist, idealist, careerbuilder, monster, strip malls (although a strip club is an idea... :eatme: ) and university alumni website?

i work for an aoutomotive assembly company and get to take some of them home ...........nice cars

I work in a sex shop, got access to lots to toys!!

I farm for myself and have a custom work business. I do other peoples farming and they pay me for it, and also do farm chemical and seed sales. Nothing like getting paid to play in the dirt :P

Mountain I wish I could be some help. I investigate motor vehicle collisions. While I do really enjoy the science behind it, not everyone has the stomache for such work.
