I've noticed some guys on this site are confused by what different cup sizes mean. I see a lot of guys comment to girls that they think the girl is confused about her cup size. I know most men probably have never had this explained, and maybe even some girls. So here goes the explanation. Cup size has to do with how big of boobs you have relative to your actual chest measurements. Ex: A 32D is the same size breasts as a 34C is the same as a 36B is the same as 38A. So a girl may have big breasts but if the circumfrence around her chest is a little bigger her cup size is going to be smaller than what you think. Also, If a girl has smaller breasts, (like me) but has a small circumfrence then she might have a bigger cup size than you would expect. I'm 32B the same as a 34A, just a smaller chest circumfrence then a girl who is a 34A.
So if you think that dividing up the sections on this site by cup size is dividing them up by breast size, that is completely untrue. So be honest, how many people didn't know that???

I knew this because I have had people try to say the cup doesnt change at all but it can I think the bigger around the more room in the cup there is. A 36 C cup will be a little smaller than a 38C cup. Me I can wear a 38DD or a 36DDD but 38 DD is easier to find so I stick with that.

I came to learn this actually because when I was in highschool I could never really find a bra that fit. Most department stores sell bras in sizes 32A, 34A,34B, and you hardly ever see a 32B. I didn't think they existed actually. My mom took me to Victoria's secret for prom so I could get a good strapless bra and when they measured me they said I was a 32B. Which made so much sense cause the 34A cup fit but the band was a bit to big and they didn't make anything but 32A in the department stores. They said that it was the sister size to the 34A. I did some research online that confirms this. Actually looking up about breast implants explains this very nicely.
I'm glad I know what my size is but man its hard to find a bra that size anywhere but V.S. and who wants to spend $40 on a bra?

Once you've had them you just can't stand the department store one's. Not to mention I know they have my size and I have some choice in what I get. Its unfortunate the price you have to pay, but its worth it.

A is 1", B is 2", C is 3", etc... a 32D is the same as a 34C in that the circumference around the body at the fullest part of the breast will be the same, so that's why the bras are considered "interchangeable"... but the D's are actually "fuller" breasts (this is the simplified version b/c you actually add different numbers depending on whether the measurement under the breast is an odd or an even number) oh... and before anyone tries to burn me for knowing this... my g/f is a 34D, which apparently isn't the most popular size at VS so she's always complaining about how it's harder for her to find bras at the store...

She usually had to $pecial order them. $$$+ My wife was such having trouble finding the correct size for herself after a recent weight loss (successful diet) that we ended up going into NYC to "The Town Shop" (http://www.townshop.com/merchandise.shtml ). She fell in love with the place and finally found bras that fit her. She does not fit into the one that VF sells.

U are so right 1986... I think bra sizes are something more than just the letter. I found it quite funny that after losing a few pounds, my band size decreased from 34 to 32 but my "cup" measurement in inches didn't change. So my boobs may look smaller but in fact my cup size went from A to B. Bra style does a lot too, I have a selection of different bras everything between 32A to 34C and they all happen to fit... and that's just weird :P But if someone asks my cup size or I have to determine it for example when uploading pics to RMM... I just say an A-cup because they definitely look like that to me.
Not to mention the size seems to change depending the time of the month...
ok, now this turned into some serious girly talk... :blahblah: :P
