He is a writer, and the specific work i was talking about is a book called The Doors of Perception and Heaven and Hell" (The Doors got their name from this)

A collection of narratives relate and analyse the author's visionary experiences under the influence of mescalin. Written in the 50's.

Aren't ya glad ya asked??? Wait, I guess you didn't really ask...

I read Brave New World by Huxley in university but having drank and smoked so much in those days I barely remember anything about it, except the sex and drug parts.

Just kickin around doing some house work and feeling a little retrospective so I'm listening to the Nirvana Box Set. One comes a song called "Verse Chrous Verse" and I have heard it a million times before but everytime I hear that song I marvel at the greatness of a track they threw on the end of a limited number of Nevermind Albums as a secret track.

If you love Melodic rock and roll download it, it's devine!

p.s Be careful they have two songs listed as VCV, this is the one you want:

Neither side is sacred
No one wants to win
Feeling so sedated
Think I'll just give in
Taking medication
Till my stomach's full
Neither side is sacred
Crawling in the hole

The grass is greener
Over here
You're the fog that
Keeps it clear
Reinventing
What we knew
Taken time is
All but true
You're the reason
I feel pain
Feels so good to
Feel again

Neither side is sacred
No one wants to win
Feeling so sedated
But I can't give in
Taking medication
Till my stomach's full
Feelin so sedated
When I'm in my home

The grass is greener
Over here
You're the fog that
Keeps it clear
Re-inventing
What we knew
Taken time is
Weird but true
You're the reason
I feel pain
Feels so good to
Feel again

Oh
