I've been thinking about starting this topic for a while but put it off. Posting a picture of the Longfellow house in another thread reminded me of this. Here's a chance to post photos of your city/town/country that you think the rest of us might find interesting. Maybe a photo of a favorite bar or pub. Whatever. My old avatar of the lighthouse was along those lines. It's one of the most painted and photographed lighthouses in the world. Here's a photo of the jogging trail around Back Cove: Attached File(s)

Nevermind the initial cost of the place. Can you imagine how much it costs to upkeep a place like that?? It's hard to imagine having that much cash that you could do it essentially as a hobby.
