Bondi random question for ya, and genuinely curious not being a dick or anything. I heard earlier that Australian Bank notes are made out of plastic? that true? and if it is how does that work? Do you need really long wallets or they bendy?

Christof I would never consider you to be a dick! haha

Australian Bank notes are made of plastic but not the hard PVC type plastic I imagine you are thinking of. It is more like they are bendable paper notes cover in thin plastic hseet for durability purposes. I have never held an American Greenback but imagine they would rip very easily whilst for us it is extremely difficult to rip a bank note.

Australian bank notes are actually a clear laminated polymer film, which is the basis of the note!

See below... We also do not have 1 or 2 dollar "bills", rather gold coins.

Cool I guessed it was probably some kind of laminate. Yeah we havent had £1 notes for many years but £1 and more recently £2 coins. Never held American notes either but UK ones are just paper but when they are new seem to be quite tough but they get weaker and easier to tear the older they get.

Shop around at bars, beer tends to be quite expensive in London but you can normally get something on an offer normally bottles or shots and if you end up in a tequila bar and they ask if you want a hellraiser say no tequila + chili sauce = bad head/throat/eyes....

I Could have sworn id replied to this? oh well. Never been into cricket must admit i dont really get it. Do follow football though looking forward to this season kicking off think Manchester United will be quie exciting with the Ronaldo Rooney clash at the world cup and them having to play together. But, As I'm a big Newcastle fan im genetically programmed to hate Man U. Do like Liverpool though there a good team that generally play fair and do try and follow them too, felt bad for cisse was a nasty break :(

Christof Cisse's break was terrible... and Ruud is gone from Man U next yr but I do know the clash u were talkin about at the WC. Is it hard to get tickets to games? I am dying to see 1 or 2 when I am there

That is my fear. I will be around London so a London based team would be more than ideal. Chelsea would be unbelievable to see but I'll go and watch any Premier League game

To be honest I am not sure, possibly, but they would not have fielded even their 2nd best 11, never do in pre season trial matches. Possibly the most expensive team of athletes on the planet

I'm not sure who was there representing Chelsea, but they played against the MLS (major league of soccer?) All-Stars. MLS won 1-0.

Not wanting to get into a debate about soccer, I honestly don't know that much about it.

I think I posted this is here before about the deer head on liquor bottles.
Well on one of my frequent trips to the liquor store I saw another example.
Glenfiddich Scotch Whisky, and I'm still looking for the the tequila with the deer on it. But I did figure something out from the deer on Saint-Hubert's liquer. Saint-Hubert is the patron saint of hunters which is where the jager label apparently came from and obviously why it is also on Saint-Hubert's liquer.
I guess what they're trying to say is that hunting and alcohol go hand in hand.

I think I said somewhere before that I am a hardworker if it is misguided or pointless. Well this is one of those times.
And that is all®
