So im sure everyones been getting to know who i am around the boards, as i call myself im the one eyed freak. if you dont know the story i shal give a quick recap. last 4th of July i got shot in the eye with a roman candle while having roman candle wars, (pretty stupid i know) so now im blind in my right eye.

Ok, enough with the depressing stuff *as if my entire life isnt so boring its depressing anyway :P* Im a college sophmore right now, studying graphic design. Probably another year or so with that, and then im going to probably move to Dallas to continue my education. right now im based in Amarillo, which is a go-nowhere town in the middle of the panhandle, with nothing for atleast a two hour radius. Im a huge science buff, (odd for someone on here im sure) very intellectual at time (depends on who im with) and can be a complete dumbass too. its a great combination :P im a gamer, a computer nerd, a sci-fi geek, and about everything else you would expect from a guy of my age.

Anyway, i think that i have pretty much spilled everything about me...i try to be a good guy, im pretty popular with my massages *when people will let me give them* and yeah....if theres really anything else you needa know, just hit me up. *shrug* i now open the floor to any pokes, jabs, jibs, insults, or ribbing that i am sure is to come upon me lol. latas guys!

1. eyepatches hurt like hell..they put alot of pressure on my eye and it bulds up and just gives me a huge fucking headache..i get em enough as it is...i hate it
2. the emoticon is kinda funny cuz its even missing the right eye :P
3. for graphic design, dont know yet. im going to get degrees in both animation and print design so i will have my options open...so yeah...im only 19 tho...all i know is that i hate the town i live in currently...fucking amarillo...

cool... does Amarillo lick the bag? We have restaraunts here called "Lone Star" like a texan themed chain amd they make these fries called "amarillo Fries" and they are to die for! Useless piece of trivia but hey... thats what Im good for

thanks comedy, means alot to me. i still have an eye in there, just its very very very badly damaged and pretty much useless....freaking cornea....anyway, i got a doc appointment on monday so we will see what they say...they were talking about some kinda wierd stem cell culturing on the eye or something...precursor to a corneal transplant..*shrug* two eye specialists talking and me trying to catch the convo....as you can imagine it didnt work too well

What happened?

found out i have a 10-15% chance of regaining vision...at most...and that it will be atleast another 6-12 months before they will even do anything with it....im afraid il never see again....:(

the docs paranoid im gonna lose that one too so hes trying to get me to go to wearing glasses full time...
