Just wandered....how can a well scored melons pic (and an old one at that) come third in melons of the month and then the next day be off the list because there have been 30 votes over night?!......maybe someone can help!!!!

There is a bit of score sabotage going on this week, and he/she/they seem to be targeting quite a few of the more popular/normally higher scoring submitters. Obviously, with fewer votes cast (on a new picture), it doesn't take a whole lot of "1" votes to drag it down. We (Hot_Mom) and I are amazed at how some of the older pictures, that have a few thousand votes, are being driven down so quickly.
Yesterday, in 5-7 minutes, Hot_Mom's last picture went from a 8-something to a 5-something. At the same time, a HotJ pic did the same, as well as a couple of others (bts34, I think). At that time, there were 4 registered members and one guest at the site.
It does not appear to always be a sabotage/manipulation, e.g. one jealous hussy driving everyone else's scores down while jacking her own up (or one of some gal's admirers doing the same). No one submitter seems to be profitting.
I might guess it is some punk kid doing it for kicks. Maybe someone like that old cman675 that ran sussed/sussed2 off the board. It would take someone with a lot of time on their hands (no life) to sit and repeatedly click a "1"...day or night...and to do so on several submitters, and then, several of each submitters' pictures.
It is too bad.

Well...whoever it is, just wish they'd find something else to do. I'd use worse language, but then my scores would probably move into minus territory!!

Its not just this site - i post on RMP and every one of my pics that was in the top ten disappeared in the space of about two days, and last time I checked, the ratings were heading south, probably passing bondi anytime now!!

To mark someone elses pictures down just to help another pic get a higher score is completely out of order and the person responsible needs to get a life and find something more constructive to do with all the spare time they seem to have! The hole point of rating the pictures is to show how much you like and appreciate the pics and boobs. To get a higher score by marking everyone elses pics down does not prove anything other than how insecure the responsible person must be!

That is my opinion for what it is worth, and it is also the reason that think the comments left by everyone on each picture should mean a lot more than the scores!

Oh and sweet, you can have a lot more than 15 mins of fame on these boards, you have some hot pics. :2thumbsup:

You are right - this happened to me recently - I worked out that I'd had around 50 votes of between 1 and 2 scores overnight - supposed to be a bit of fun (isn't it?) but someone is determined to be in MotM at all costs - sad really.

It is supposed to be just a bit of fun, and it must be nice feeling for you girls that post the pics to have a high score, but it would appear that some take it more seriously than others!

I think that people that do that should get alife and give the pic the vote it should get.

we upped the security a few days ago, so this shouldn't be happening, if any of you can vote multiple times, I'd like to know how!

i think ultimately it comes down to this... yeah, i'm guessing the votes are nice and it's a boost to the ego to see your name up on the top-melons list...

but those who really care come here to the forums and get actual feedback and not just a number... they get more love... and in the process we benefit b/c they tend to post additional pics just for us... tell me that's not a win-win situation :2thumbsup:

I've noticed this also, I used to have a few pics in the top ten now I dont think I have any. I really think its childish if someone is actually rating people a bunch of 1's just to lower their score. Maybe they should work harder on getting laid!!! As far as i'm concerned ratings dont really matter much anyway. I like showing my pics on this site and I hope the people who matter, all my new rmm friends enjoy seeing them. The person responsible for the "sabotage" is just :whatever:

With respect to John Freak's security, I bet I can take a bad pic, submitted in the last week, and make it nearly #1 by Monday morning.

This sabatge thing is getting bad I looked at my scores and one was 7.09 then I looked again few min. later it was 6.16.

It appears that I am back on the melons of the month list again1 I wonder how long it will last this time!
