Nah.... I don't think this is an action shot, for two reasons. The first are technical, so I won't go into detail. The second, though, is that the photographer would need to have either long arms and nerves of steel (you'd have to if you wanted to hold the camera straight looking at that! ), or isn't actually the cause of the action (jealousy would seriously prohibit that one).

Either way, it's an ace shot!

The camera is on a tripod with either a timer or this is one of a series of pictures taken. It doesn't really matter when we get a picture like this. It's like what they say about sausage, everyone loves to eat it but nobody wants to see it made.

I believe it's better to use your imagination. I'm perfectly happy assuming that it's an inbetween action shot.
