on the topic of music... there's a good band out there from canada called "our lady peace"... i just heard that they have a new album out but haven't had a chance to check it out yet...
anyone heard it/have any opinions of it? maybe one of our friends from the north have some insight? *hint, hint*

OLP has been big in Canada for years. Saw em in concert about 7 years back and they put on a great show. Last album was so-so but I really liked clumsy from 97ish. I've only heard the first single off the new album and it sounds pretty good. Others have said that the rest of it great as well, so it's probably worth checking out.

really? i thought "gravity" was actually their best album so far... didn't get nearly as much attention as it should have...
i've seen them live 3 or 4 times and they've been great each time... they're playing here in chicago in a couple of weeks but i'm going to be out of town at a wedding

yeah they were just here, about 2 weeks ago but i missed them... i was thinking clumsy was my fav, but now that i think about it, it was the cd b4 that--naveed, i guess i liked it more cuz it was a bit more agressive with songs like naveed and starseed

eh...ive heard em before but dont really like em that much..not that into softer stuff....if i remember correctly...AND YOU SUCK DICK JROCK!! you get slipknot for two days in a row..my friend is going to see them and im pissed off at her for it lol. out of all the concerts ive been to, slipknot has been the most amazing one ive seen in my life. and ive seen metallica. thats saying something

I have got one of Ozzys CD's and I really like one of the songs and I cannot remember what its called and its really gonna bug me now!....what about Whitesnake?
