If you don't know, Oct is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. There's a group that seeks to help raise money for breast cancer research so we can get to the cure. I decided to post in here about it since I'm sure most of us here have a love and appreciation for breasts so helping save them is in our interest. The website below allows people (men and women) donate pics of their chests (covered or uncovered) to encourage others to donate money. Links are on the site to where you can donate money for research (they do not take any money themselves, everything is on a volunteer basis). Men's pic and "covered" women's pic are made available for all to see. "Uncovered" women's pic are made available to those who have donated $50 or more. I encourage any and all to help with this boobiethon so we can rid ourselves of the scourge of cancer. The event runs the first week of Oct (the 1st to the 7th), they are taking prelaunch pic submissions now. Please go to the website and check it out and please donate (pics or money) and help them raise the bar on donations once again. It can be done anonymously or you can have your name added to the list of participants (names will not be connected to particular pics).

Looks like the Boobiethon is off to a great start. There's already 2 pages of pics in the "pay-per-boobie" area and >$1k in donations in less than a day. L2EJ has submitted a pic to the cause as well as my wife and myself. Who else wants to get involved and help save the boobies? :niceones: :niceones:

One last bump. The Boobiethon is still running until 1159pm eastern on the 7th. As of 130pm eastern $8326 has been raised for breast cancer research. The record so far was last year at $9300, it's not too late to donate money or pics to help this year become a record breaking year for the Boobiethon. Also, guys: I was moderating men's pic yesterday for the boobiethon and I saw 1 pic sent in during the 2hrs I was doing that. We want to see everyone supporting with pics as well as donations. Well, the final tally was $13205. Considering the previous high was $9300, that is just crazy. Even if you missed out on the boobiethon, please donate if/when you can. The way I see it, if we can get a cure for any cancer then we can get to a cure for all cancer. Boobs definitely have our attention (why else would we be here?) so breast cancer can be the focus for now. To any that participated or donated, thank you. :cheers:
