Myrtle Beach is like number three on the list of rallies. Sturgis can be a blast with all walks of life showing up. The area is awesome to ride and as you know. You can see more tits and ass walking down the street than you do at a strip club!

That better not be oregon. But when I look at this picture I can't tell exactly where it was taken. My first guess would be of the Back Cove.

You know, on a serious note, that picture isn't a race or any sort of sponsored run; that's just an average day. During daylight hours, there are that many people running on the Boulevard, which is 3.5 miles long. Portland has a lot of runners and this is the best place to run because it's a clay path. No traffic, no potholes, no puddles, great view and your knees don't get pounded to shit because it's clay. I've ran this path over 3000 times (literally) and I still enjoy going out on it. How many places can you say that about?

Lakeshore drive right along the lake in Chicago , thats were all the downtown business people go on there lunch breaks and after work to jog , ride there bikes , or just to power walk , I jog it everytime im up there for meetings which as of the last few yrs has been many time .. but its wall to wall people 7 days a week . So yes I more then know what ya mean . As far as here at home we have a private blacktop road that runs from my house to were the farm office is which is a mile and we jog or ride bikes on it all the time , and the best part of it is its surrounded by corn fields and green grass . and I dont have to worry about traffic or running into somebdy running the wrong direction .

Are you sure you're not on the payroll for Maine Tourism? :P

It does indeed look nice but I also had a path I used to run around this massive urban park we have in our city with a lake, the largest legislative building in Canada and lots of scenery. I've probably only run it 1000-2000 times but I still love it. Sadly, when we moved, I am now a 15 minute drive away as oppsed to a 5 minute run away. :(

That path is the reason I've lived in the places I have in Portland. I can always run to it. The furthest away I've been is about a half mile. I guess I've made it pretty clear that I love living here and I've seen a lot of places. Here's another thing most states don't have-no billboards. We outlawed them back in the seventies and they're never coming back. How's Canada with billboards, are they all over the place. I really haven't traveled much thru rurul Canada.

No billboards?
I gotta say that is one of the best laws ever. I never thought they were a problem but over the years there are more and more and more in urban centres.
Luckily, there is SO much wilderness, at least where I live, that you can easily go to places where you won't see another person or building for miles let alone billboards. It's a tradeoff I guess.

Saw this on ebay, are you bidding? :P

It's not coming up but I know exactly what this is. I've checked out that island on a number of real estate sites and watched a video, both from a plane and on the island. It's on my watch list. This island is near where FDR had his summer home.
