So I was bored tonight, my football game got cancelled due to heavy rain so I wrote this little piece.
For the uninitiated, I adopted a persona for this, so this is not about me in any way, shape or form. Enjoy...
You Are, I Am.
You are like a French Fry when I should be eating fruit A simple pair of shorts when I should be in a suit You are mediocrity when all I seek is fame And when I want to simmer, you are a bright blue flame.
You are the Persian rug when I’m out on the tiles You are just an evil smirk when all I want is smiles You talk about the future when it’s all in my past You want to roll the credits when I want things to last.
You are my iron foot when I’m trying not to speed Here I am a full grown tree when you are just the seed You’re the scent of cigarette when I’m struggling to breathe And whilst my name is Adam you will never be my Eve. February 2007

QUOTE(bondiguy @ Feb 9 2007, 04:39 PM) Haha I have been stacking up on windter clothes. I seriously own 1 jacket, its kinda like this leather motorcycle jacket, i love it but rarely wear it as temps are not condusive to jacket wearing here. I have been buying long sleeve tops and jumpers and shit. I gotta buy a beanie now too (Skull cap?) I own about 20 jackets haha. QUOTE(closeup @ Feb 9 2007, 05:41 PM) If you're gonna get a beanie, make sure you get one with a propeller. They're all the rage in London. Here's Gnappy with his "Friday" one. QUOTE(bondiguy @ Feb 9 2007, 05:45 PM) haha I think I'll pass... Im sure the translation is wrong. What I call a beanie is like a woolen or like material cap worn on ur head to keep your head warm? Like they wear on snowboarding at the X ganes etc? There are about 100 different words for them, skull caps, beanies, woolen caps, winter hats. Bah! Flimshaw. If everyone would just use the correct word we wouldn't have to fumble with all these terms than half fit. Canadians pretty much invented the damned things(I'm sure Mr. Patriot, closeup will come along with some obscure reference to an American patenting but I'll ignore that :P ) We wear them many months of the year and we have ONE all encompassing term for them. TUQUE, pronounced TWO (as in the number 2), with a K sound at the end. I'm on a worldwide campaign to get everyone to refer to these things by a single name. Do it for Gnappy! QUOTE(hott1976 @ Feb 9 2007, 06:13 PM) i'll have to get a pic of me and my board NAKED! The correctest thing I have ever heard! QUOTE(cangirl18 @ Feb 10 2007, 02:18 PM) how come you're never around on the weekends... I've been waiting for you. How dare he not be around! You'd better post sexy pics like that in my 411 next time instead :P QUOTE(bondiguy @ Feb 12 2007, 01:51 AM) So I was bored tonight, my football game got cancelled due to heavy rain so I wrote this little piece. I can honestly say I have never heard the word TUQUE and if I asked them at the local surf shop they'd be like, WTF? But I like using new words, so I'll give it a go!That is either a simpsons reference or you are being serious? =If it's a ref. its Abe Simpson

So I get a call from my boss today, telling me that I have been chosen by my company to go on a 2 week trip to Japan and Mexico, only 10 days after I return from my Honeymoon in Europe!
The trip is part reward for my results over the past 12 months and part educational as I will be visiting our head office in Japan and the Cuervo distillery in Mexico. All expenses paid, I can't wait! I guess over a 9 week period I'll be overseas for 7 weeks... unbelievable!

And when people act all confused tell that's what it's called and chastize them for not knowing the proper terminolgy and make them promise at gunpoint to use it from that day on. Haha, it actually is sorta a simpsons reference, albeit an unintentional one, I think when Abe is talking about Bea Simmons. But it does remind me of a song that escapes me at this time. Speaking of which if your still thinking of going to a football game, apparently the best way to get tickets is through the teams offical websites, they should have a box office link. With most of the bigger clubs you will most likely only be able to get away tickets though.

We are NOT taking the Geo Metro, we are taking my boss' old Buick  He went out to start it this morning and battery was dead. But on the car's side, it was -35C(no need to conver that to Fahrenheit as that is the point at which Celcius and Fahrenheit are the same as well as being 1 degree above Absoulute Zero). I think I better bring some warms clothes and some good boots for walking. :o
