On the Board Stats(most users ever, total posts made) on the bottom of the main message board page, it resets everyday. Not a big deal really, just wonderign why?

John,
How does the ratting work? For instance is it a pure average or a weighted average? Some of the girls on the boards think their scores are very low. Jus wondering.
Thanks

There are three types of "averages" Mean, Median and Mode. What John is saying is the score is the Mean average. Median would be 50% above a certain score, 50% below it. Mode is the number closest to the middle of a group of numbers. For instance, if you wanted to find out the average shoe size of a bunch of people, it wouldn't make sense to add up everybody's shoe size and divide by the number of people. Mean is what John said it was, Total accumulated score divided by the number of voters. Scores will tend to go down over a period of time due to a factor known as "Reverting to the Mean" It has to do with Bell curves and probability distributions and a couple of other boring mathmatical formulas. I think the main factor in low scores overall is jealously and envy, not math.

It's when you hit 1000, or go on Howard Stern and convince him to buy you a pair. Whichever comes first.
