I was careful to not take my trunks off until I was in the water. I did it in Honduras as a joke. It almost backfired horribly because I was with my wife, mother-in-law, father-in-law, sister-in-law, and three brothers-in-law. I was in the water up to my waist and waving my trunks for my wife's camera. Nobody could see down below, but my brothers-in-law made a desperate dash for my trunks from about 10 feet away. You never saw someone run so fast through the water as I did that day.....

It seems to always follow somd kind of party or gathering where excess drinking has gone on. I try not to do it in hot tubs anymore though. The close quarters invariably leads to sexual conversations which in turn leads to sex. Most of the times I've gone skinnydipping with a group at the beach, at a lake, in a public pool (after hours), etc. it has been very innocent and just for laughs. Face it... there's at least a little exhibitionist in all of us. I think it's just part of human nature.
