Not enough people take the necessary time to rest and heal when they SHOULD and therefore never fully get back to themselves. If he bitches just tell him, 5-7 days now and then you're just as good as new or 2 days now and you take the next three months to get to your old self if not more!!!!

You really should listen to the doc and shut yourself down for at least 10 days hun. With viral infections you need to do that.

So they dont have to let him off and right now they are short handed so yesterday when he requested off his supervisor told him it didnt look good but he'd try. He's been working 12 hour days. Even on Saturday. So i'm sure they aren't going to let him off.

Sounds like he works at the same place as me. That's what my schedule will be like for the next 5 to 6 months.

Oh I am sure it is... I have nieces and nephew's and I love them, I am just not there yet in my life

It must be one of those "you only can understand when it happens to you" sort of things.  Right now I'm just so caught up in my husband and spending as much time together.  Kids will be in the picture (eventually) but right now it's fun to be selfish and just the two of us.
