alright, the purpose of this thread is to create a place where anyone can vent about anything... it might be some shit at work, some dickhead on the street, something about society in general that just pisses you off...

go ahead, let it out... let's here you rant!


i'll start... i hate the city of chicago... they FINALLY get in line w/the rest of the sensible world and pass a smoking ban that goes into effect this month... the catch? they put in a TWO YEAR exemption for bars, clubs and restaurants... great, two more years of me going out and smelling like an ashtray when i come home, having to air my coat out for days afterwards, oh, and yeah, all the shit that i'm breathing in while i'm there... so here's a royal "fuck you" to the city

I hate when you buy a coffee in a take out cup and they put the part that you open to drink the coffee out of right in line with the seam of the cup and every time you take a drip it feels really annoying and also is more likely to drip. I hate that shit!

I hate when people cut you off on the highway just to drive slower then you, or when someone goes flying by you just to get a head of you on the exit. I guess what I am trying to say is that I hate people that drive like dip shits!

I hate when someone drinks all the juice or whatever but a corner and put it back in the fridge..So when you pick it up you almost knock yourself out lol..

I hate when im in a public bathroom and you hardly ever see anyone wash their hands ew yuck...

I also hate that heat sealed plastic packaging you get electronics, toys and other stuff in. You know the stuff I'm talking about. It has no visible place to open it. You basically need a machete to get into the package thereby destroying the instructions, labels etc. And God forbid you need to return the item cuz when you take it back to the place of purchase it looks like you ran over it with a lawn mower. I think they should encase the space shuttle in this material to shield it from breaking up when reentering the atmosphere.

I hate, absolutely loathe, whomever it was that first started using those twist-tie things to tie down toys in their cases. A couple of years ago, I had to open a few toys that had them. Last year about half of the toys had them. This year, every single frikkin toy had those twist ties that chewed up my fingers because I couldn't find any scissors.

ex) there was a accident around here recently where a train crashed into a bunch of cars.... how did it happen you ask? simple... the fucking cars stopped on the tracks even though there are flashing lights and gates and everything! then the drivers ofthe cars sued the train company (for what? not getting out of the way?!) and now the city is spending $500,000 to study how to improve the intersection and probably $40million to build an underpass...

I hate it when I go to see a movie and the place is crowded... and every time there's an empty seat in front of me and I'm smiling and happy and thinking ok THIS TIME I was lucky... and then I see him (or her, but mostly they are men) with a Gigantic head walking in... and I know for sure that's the one who's going to spoil my movie when I cannot see the subtitles. I can't hate on the people who pop on rating sites and make fucked up comments... I mean I do of course.. but i just feel sorry for them that a segment of their lives is to pop on and write something fucked up to someone.... I've been pissed off about some of the posts I've seen recently. There's been some people reposting pics that the beautiful women share with us. In my very humble opinion I think that doing this is very rude. It takes some of the control away from these very lovely ladies. They are also pretty smart and can figure out which pic being replied to. If someone wants to take their pics down they should be able to do it without having to bother the mods about it.

I consider myself a pretty tolerant person when it comes to others relegions and or ethnic backgrounds. I live in a very multicultural city where my best friend has Italian heritage. I have anglo saxon friends, went to school with asians, work with a guy thats gay and have the odd Muslim friend so I don't think I can be labelled a racist/bigot/whatever... but.....

I am sick to death of the Muslim faith. Overnight news has flooded through that mi5 in the UK foiled a potential terrorist plot to blow up 10 planes on route from London to the USA midflight all in the name of "jihad"

Although it is months away I will be flying to London for my honeymoon as a gateway through Europe and I would not be human if the whole thing doesn't scare the lving piss out of me. However, I will press on because i will not allow these cunts, these people who are the fucking scum off the earth to ruin my one shot at life!

Alas, if that isn't enough to piss me off, Muslim groups in Australia and throughout the world have come out and said they now fear they will become even greater targets of hate crime and revenge attacks! Not once did they publicly denounce the terrorist act or distance their faith from what these terrorists profess to be fighting for. All they have is a bleeding heart story.

I have never ever felt the need for war at any time and strongly opposed my countries involvement in thw war in Iraq etc but now, again, I am all for it. Rid these parasites from the face of the earth forever

The following may get me offside with some people but I am sick of being PC.

I consider myself a pretty tolerant person when it comes to others relegions and or ethnic backgrounds. I live in a very multicultural city where my best friend has Italian heritage. I have anglo saxon friends, went to school with asians, work with a guy thats gay and have the odd Muslim friend so I don't think I can be labelled a racist/bigot/whatever... but.....

I am sick to death of the Muslim faith. Overnight news has flooded through that mi5 in the UK foiled a potential terrorist plot to blow up 10 planes on route from London to the USA midflight all in the name of "jihad"

Although it is months away I will be flying to London for my honeymoon as a gateway through Europe and I would not be human if the whole thing doesn't scare the lving piss out of me. However, I will press on because i will not allow these cunts, these people who are the fucking scum off the earth to ruin my one shot at life!

According to this logic slaves should have never been taught how to read and write either because for hundreds of years they couldn't do either and those that could couldn't do it in English.

In Israel you would want to fight too if you had been opressed against or if some assmunch group of terroists had attacked you. Oh yea an assmunch group of terrorists did attack and now we are at war with that group.

The war in Iraq is not about these groups commiting these terrorist attacks. The war in Afghanistan is the one that not near as much effort was put on.

Saddam down the line supposedly helped the terrorists ALONG with MANY other countries. But the war with saddam is supposedly cause he was an immediate threat to us with all his weapons, than it was turned into a humanitarian thing cause he is a mean leader. Allthough there are countries in Africa with leaders far worse that are commiting genocide on people.

But anyway so many think that the war in Iraq is because of the terrorists and its not. Iraq was not responsible for the Terrorist Attacks here or in London or the new ones that were being attempted.

My opinion is we went in using the weapons and terrism as a reason the underlying reason is getting control of the suppply of Oil ,well guess what folks we got the supply of oil under our control and prices are still outrages , Im in a field were we burn a tremoudous amount of diesel fuel daily like about 1000 gallons , well up until monday we had been buying it for 2.40 or so well on monday cause of alaska pipeline it went to 3.10 and today its back to 2.75 well Im just a small fish so a $700. swing a day isnt that much but can you imagine a big operetor or even the railroads ... I hate to listen to people that just drive to work in there cars start complaining about fuel costs its a drop in the bucket compared to allot of business ..

It's funny how much death and suffering occur in the name of God. Muslims, Jews, Christians all believe in the same "God" yet look at all the conflict it causes. I'm Roman Catholic but I don't feel the need to push my beliefs or kill people in the name of my God. And I'm not just picking on Muslims, look at the shit that Christianity cuased through much of Middle Ages and beyond. And Judaism? They killed Jesus for pete's sake (just messing on that one, I'm not Mel Gibson).
I read an interesting quote from a heavy metal dude, who was accused of propagating Satanism: "It's hardly Satan worshippers who are blowing things up all over the world these days." I don't want to start a religious debate, but it's stupid how many problems extremist religious groups cause. Jihadist muslims blowing shit up, extremist Christians only seeing the world in black and white, good and evil. Just believe in what you want to believe, be spiritual, help people out when you can, try to evolve yourself as best as you can and let that be that.

Now that we are there though it needs to be finished. We need to help rebuild and finish the job, but I dont think it should have been started to begin with.

He must have meant Canadian $ up here similiar combine with pickup header would cost very close to 500g's to put only 300 hr's on it a year and then to sell the grain for next to nothing...that is why I don't farm anymore... yup you heard it here first unclebuck used to be a farmer till the right fellow came along with way too much money and bought me out I invested wisely and have not looked back since. But I do have great respect for farmers and that way of life they do feed the world !!!

Oh i hear ya , our problem is simply we have had to grow to such big acres  we cant afford the down time , so we trade  every 2yrs   and often times we hire a 2nd machine to help us , the thing that hurts is in 1975 that combine would have cost 50 G  and sold the corn for  2.00  and today it costs  300 G  and were still getting  2.00 .

I was discussing this yesterday too. I know it is only a small majority of Muslims who react in these kind of ways, but when you have close to a billion followers and only .5% are extremists to some degree, that's still 10,000,000 lunatics out there. I mean, that is the stupidest way to react to every little thing that "defies" your religion. I'm not defending the Pope, but what he said was taken a bit out of context. And then to react by affirming what he said. Are these people retarded??? So if a Muslim leader says Jesus was not the true Messiah, should I got blow up some mosques in my town? The way many Muslims around the world reacted to the Danish cartoon and now this is truly absurd to me. They just reaffirm what many people stereotype them as, maniacal extremists.
I would love to see in these peoples' minds to know what twisted logic is going on in there. That's why I hardly watch international news anymore, just story after story of people bringing the collective intelligence of the world down a few more rungs.

How's this for bullshit:

A couple of days ago a friend of mine told me about a program she works for "Feral Felines" that had a Maine Coon cat ready for adoption. So yesterday we have breakfast together than drive over to where these cats are kept. The cat I was interested in was a three month old kitten. So we get to this place, the second floor of a transmission shop, and there's about 30 cats in cages. They bring me the coon cat, I like the way he acts/looks and agree to pay the $70.00 adoption fee. But first someone higher up the heirarchy at this organization has to approve it. I've had a Maine Coon for a pet for over ten years (Bart) until he got killed a couple of years ago. Anyway, this lady from the cat place just called me and said she wasn't going to let me have the cat because she thought the cat would get lonely living here. She thought the cat needed another cat to keep it company. She personally has 18 cats in her house. . The friend who got me interested in the first place is pissed. She thinks it's bullshit and will probably quit. WTF. Since my other cat was named Bart and this one was female, I was gonna name it Maggie. Oh well...

thst is pretty stupid. cats can be social animals as far as living with other cats but do fine on their own, as long as they have their owner. dogs are far more social creatures, so should everyone who wants a dog be forced to get at least 2? and 18 cats in your house?? i could imagine how good her place must smell.

It would be like me going into a motorcycle shop and asking to buy a 1100cc motorcycle and be told that they didn't think I could handle it. When I've told them that I've been riding an 1100 for ten years, it might change their argument. I've had a coon cat for ten years with no problems, I think I can handle it. And 18 cats? I agree with you, Closeup.  Besides cats are really capable of adapting...The woman that runs the place is just a freak.  18 cats    Damn, I remember when we had five and that was way too many.  I have two and a German Sheppard, all of them adopted.  I'm not into that pure bred papered shit.  I had a cat that our vet thought was part Maine Coon...it was an outstanding animal.  Good choice...but then I suppose it goes with your territory.

I was looking on EBAY last night and there was a copy of the book selling for $20,000! It had 70 bids. Seven different auctions were trying to sell the book. By this morning they'd all been pulled.

Just like when Steve Irwin died. Over the next 24 hours thousands of new listings were added selling Irwin memoribila.... it is rather sickening isn't it?

I guess though that now, that book will be a collectors item of sorts
