It's weird, on my latest pic yesterday I had something like 50 votes and a rating of like 9.4 .. today I check and it's got 60 with a 7.8 rating, like I got all 1 votes 
I thought it was a good pic, maybe someone's just jealous

These days that does not happen very often. So what ever we can do to get more votes is probably helpful.

Hopefully it's not too blurry, my right arm is probably the most blurry on account of the movement
