how do i send a pic in the pm's ? i tried a few times but no pic is ever shown

Sending a pic in a PM is just like posting one to the messageboard...

Hit the Browse button below and fine the pic on your harddrive.

Hit add the attachment.

Then send the PM.

All you see is a link at the bottom before it is sent. The recipient sees the pic.

I'm having a problem with this myself. I follow the usual steps as show above, and then it 'loads' the attachment, but when it's finished, there's no link shown and it says there are no attachments on the PM. So then it sends without one. I've tried it over and over again with jpegs and tifs and even took a screenshot of the original pic in case the jpeg was too large. Nothing I try results in it actually attaching to the PM. Is there a setting somewhere that's preventing this from working?

I'm on a Mac using Safari 4.0.2 if that helps ...

Many thanks! Hopefully you can get back to me about this soon, it's driving me mental and kinda making a liar out of me (I promised a lovely lady a pic that I can't now send her!).

The size of the pic is probably to large (memmory wise.) If the pic is a .bmp (Bit mapped) try renaming it as a .jpg. You can usually do this with paint.
