just something for couriousity...describe your perfect date...leave out the "i got laid part"...if your single or attached it doesnt matter...just something interesting to talk about...it might be meeting the man/woman of your dreams or just a night out without the children...humor me...i will start...a night with no children is a big ...going out for a nice dinner is really great but most times we stay in and i cook a lovely dinner for my wife...one of those nights where i do everthing(including the dishes) and just let her relax...a great meal and laying on the couch and watching movies with her...thats hard to beat in my book...

As a business owner and a single, I loath quote-unquote "dating". I absolutely hate it with a passion. As a single, dating to me means I throw money at a girl who will just critique the hell out of me all night, constantly comparing me to her ex's, who will only thank me for picking up the tab at the end of the evening. I apologize if this sounds a little ruthless, but I do live in California.
Getting around dating hell, I do something a little different, I will plan events within my circle of girl friends and ask one if she is up to getting in the car and heading out. It's a perfect median of sorts, because there's no expectations of making a relationship, she already knows me, we go out and just have a great time together.
Every August in Monterey California there's a wonderful Italian festival consisting of many events. I make reservations in advance to a romantic beach front hotel for a four day getaway, with event tickets already in hand. I'll take the car out, throw my suitcase in, pick her up and head off the the beach. Once there, every night consists of an incredible dinner, some live music, and walk around the historic town afterward. The aura is just serene and magical. Both her and I are enjoying the moment as we both share in the events for the days we there. Four days of incredible sights, romantic moments, delicious food, a camera full of secret memories in one of the most beautiful places in California. The last day is the drive back home, slightly sunburned, rested and very happy. The best part is, she's still one my close friends.
