So at another fine message board I post at they have a Movie Monologue thread and I thought I would duplicate that thread here.

I love a movie monologue. In my opinion it can make an average movie memorable or a make a great movie not so great.

So post your favourite, least favourite, 14th favourite monologue here for all of us to enjoy.

I'll kick it off:

"The path of the righteous man is beset on all sides by the iniquities of the selfish and the tyranny of evil men. Blessed is he, who in the name of charity and good will, shepherds the weak through the valley of darkness, for he is truly his brother's keeper and the finder of lost children. And I will strike down upon thee with great vengeance and furious anger those who would attempt to poison and destroy my brothers. And you will know my name is the Lord when I lay my vengeance upon thee."

Good idea. I'm too lazy to look for the script, though I bet I could find it with little effort, but this I do love this monologue. It's not really life-changing or anything, but it's still great in the movie.
