I'm not following the US election process that closely (we have enough shit happening here as Gordon Brown is "gifted" the leadership of the UK from Tony Blair... not exactly democracy in action ...), but from what I can read of the guy (Ron Paul), he'd probably get my vote. I'm for lower taxes, small government, strong defence and security, welfare/health systems that are the minimum necessary to meet needs "free at the point of use" (we do this in the UK, but not sure that you Americans have achieved this yet?) and, above all, the fostering of self-reliance in people ... hey, maybe I'm American huh?
