Bondi, I never did get to see what passes for porn in Australia -- ironically. My perception, from my limited experience there, is that you guys don't have NEARLY as much of it sitting around in newsstands, book stores, and video stores as in the U.S. However, I think the sheer volume of stuff in the U.S. is a little much. Moreover, a production mentality has set in where most of the women are "barely legal" and look almost bewildered at how they got on the set in the first place. I don't enjoy that, because I'd like to think that the person is an educated and enthusiastic participant. Combine that with Max Hardcore-style clips, where the woman seems to be some kind of high-school experiment rather than a sex partner, and it becomes a turn-off for me.

A more extreme example is what I have seen of Japanese porn. Virtually every clip I've seen, the woman seems to be uncomfortable and almost there against her will.
