I was in a discussion the other night with some friends and it seems that the time it takes for different people to get turned-on really varies. When I told a some of these girlfiends of mine and their husbands and boyfriendsthat I can get savagely horny within two or three seconds, they seemed genuinely surprised. Most of the gus said the same thing and agreed that threy could generate a boner almost immediately, but there were also a couple that said it takes some time and effort. THAT'S hard for me to imagine. Usually, just the mention of anything sexual gets me wet. It doesn't take any effort for me to want to get naked and dirty at all. I LOVE sex! But, I understand that there are lots of women who have all kinds of problems sexually. One of my friends is 29 years old and told me that she'd NEVER had an orgasm during any kind of sexual encounter with her husband or anyone else for that matter. I thought "how sad". Words can't describe how bad I felt for her. But that's a little off-topic...

I concur with you, lynette. It usually takes me about 0.2 seconds to get honry even if i'm not (which is rare). I have been with a girl who was savagely horny in the beginning, but then it waned to the point of frustration. Asking her if it was me produced the response, "no, i'm under a lot of stress," which she was (at least, i think she was...). At any rate, sex is great and wonderful and I'd do it all day everyday if i could...that feeling is one that wants for a vocabulary for which there is none. I've burst into uncontrollable laughter from orgasm a few times...
Speaking of people who can't have orgasms from sex, i've heard of a few myself. Friends of friends who just can't climax. I hope they can one day... that's something that I would recommend over and over and over...

Again, that's really hard for me to relate too. I've owned companies and been under tremendous professional and emotional stress at times in my life, and I've never equated it with my sex life. The two to me are separate, unrelated things. If anything, I'll have a lot more sex when I'm uder pressure to help DE-STRESS myself.

this is an impossible question for me to answer, it would all depend on the situation and my mood, might be impossible to get me horny might take 30 seconds. Just depends on the situation.

I guess I forgot to ad "regardless of the mood or circumstance" (excluding being at a funeral, just having had open-heart surgery, or during the time the fire dept. is trying to save your house from burning down). It has nothing to do with a natural disaster, It can be like a normal day and my mood might not be right. Might not get in the mood at all might take a little work or might take something simple to spark me into the mood.

It is very much a frame of mind for me.

In a way I like it, I wouldnt like being the same way all the time or stuff I like variety and I like that sometimes my man has to work for the goodies. Not all men are wired the same and are so easy, I was shocked when watching my husband because we could watch a Porno and he wont even get hard and I will be horny and when I persue him than he gets hard. Ok. I'll be the odd guy out here. MOST of the time I can get horny quick and jump right into it. Sometimes I lose interest though if Im horny and ready to get it on but the wife wants to soft kiss and rub and tickle... all that stuff kinda takes me out of the mood. I think you and your hubby are exact replicas of me and my hubby. I feel like I am reading about myself when I was reading all of your posts. We have an awesome relationship and a very healthy sex life. We are totally different than all of our friends. None of them seem to be attracted to each other the way me and the hubby are.
