2000-2001: Kodak DC3200 (1 Megapixel)

Currently a Samsung 4.0 mega pixels Digimax. But hubby really wants a camera with the big zoom lens and 8 mega pixels. I'm looking thru fliers right now and can't find one damn it!

Posted by: summoner Jul 15 2006, 01:27 PM

Kodak Easyshare DX6490 and itīs good smile.gif 4 megapixels, 10x optical zoom (my hubbie also want a new cam...)

Posted by: BusterHymen Jul 15 2006, 02:15 PM

Have had: Kodak, Minolta

Currently using Olympus Evolt 300 8.1mp DSLR

Posted by: Avvilimento Jul 15 2006, 10:06 PM

2000-2002 : Canon Powershot A60 (2.1MPel)
2002-present : Canon Powershot G3 (4.0MPel)
2005-present : Canon EOS 20D (8.2MPel)

The camera #1 is looking for, Natalie, is probably the Panasonic Lumix FZ-30 (or is it ZF-30?). If that's not it, then perhaps he should give it a look. Not a bad piece of kit, IMO; but like my Canons (obviously).

The Panasonic Lumix series of cameras are surprisingly good. Panasonic's initial series of digital cameras were REALLY bad, from what I remember. They have made up for it.

To see comprehensive detail on cameras, including high-res sample photos of EVERYTHING out there, try www.stevesdigicams.com. I have no connection with the site; I'm just letting you know that it will tell you the good and bad about every camera.

Tell 'Da Lucky Bloke he is doing a fine job of capturing your lovely assets.

Posted by: Gnappster Jul 17 2006, 12:11 PM

Well I dunno if I take great photos, but I still use my antique Kodak DX4230 (2 mp) cuz it hasn't broken yet. (I am a cheap bastard).

That is allŪ

Posted by: evade20 Jul 17 2006, 09:51 PM

My older one is a Sony FD Mavica 92 (1.6 mp). Uses either 3.5" floppies or Memory Sticks™ ( It's about 5 years old) Big and clunky but not totally with out redeaming values. Uses only Sony rechargeble batts.

Newest is a Sony Cybershot™ DSC-P93 (5.1 mp) Much smaller and easier to carry when traveling...Also can be used with rechargable batts. or AA non-rechargebles. Uses memmory stick type flash card.

Posted by: Bobaloo Jul 18 2006, 02:22 PM

I have a Sony Cybershot T-7. It's a great camera and even better once you get used to it. It's very small and slim so you can put it in your pocket and not worry about it. (No vibrate feature though) It's size makes it great for upskirt shots in crowded areas, so I've heard.

My local camera shop tells me to keep using the free disposable cameras they give me, and they will keep putting the pics on CD for me....they said I don't need to worry about these new-fangled digital things 2thumbs.gif

Posted by: Lynette Jul 19 2006, 10:15 PM

Olympus 3000, Nikon D-70, Nikon D-200, and an old Cannon A-1.

I just bought the water resistant case for my Sony T7. I figure it will be good to keep sand out of my camera when we're on the beach during our honeymoon. The case is also waterproof up to 9.8 feet according to the spec sheet. not a scuba case, obviously, but good enough for taking some pics of underwater shennanigans.

Well, they're not actually mine, and a Nikon D-200 and a big Cannon have been added to the arsenol since I originally posted this. This particular photographer takes a lot of my pictures for me. He's also a very accoplished artist with great expertise in oil as a medium.

Has he ever done oil paintings of you? The non-photos you have posted look more like acrylic than oil?

As a matter of fact he has, But, I did just finished doing a photo shoot with a pretty well known south american fantasy artist who wanted me for more Vamirella studies. Also, you might check out the work of an artist named Paul Jaworsky, ty to figure out which ones are me. He's one of my favorite cartoon/pin-up artists.

I wouldn't have guessed this last one at all. The hair is red, and you always have bangs in your other photos.

And I noticed this because my wife's hair is almost identical to yours in color and style.... laughing-smiley-014.gif

I didn't pose for this one. I only posted it as an example of Paul's work. I love his approach to pin-up art.
