I was astonished to find out how conservative the US was on beach nudity. I mean girls dont stroll around butt naked here unless on a Nudist Beach but topless sunbathing and swimming is very acceptable.

You're right. The US is very conservative regarding toplessness on the beach or elsewhere. They finally had to pass laws just to allow mothers to nurse in public. I would love to totally blame the Christian right about this issue but I can't because there are members of the liberal left who would problably in their own perverse way find some issue about nudity being somehow anti-woman....Don't ask for logic because there isn't any. :unsure:
